  • New control arms and urethane bushings for all 4 sway bar mounting points.

LOVE them. Love Florida cars too. I pulled both control arms out of the knuckles by hand. They almost fell out. drool
Any difference that makes no difference is no difference.

    • Gave it an oil change, and re-advanced the timing.

Didn't realize Valvoline racing synthetic was green. lol

I only got the stuff because it was being clearanced a while back for $1/quart.

      • Yanked the rear bumper cover. Things planned for it.

Also took it to the top speed limit. Wish I'd had my GPS in the car at the time. In 4th and WOT speedo pegged for a good long while till it just sort of hit a wall and wouldn't do any more. I'm definitely gonna get killed when it's finally boosted.

        • Dangit, there is a nice minimal rust 88' Festiva in my town for $400, I bet the buy will take $300 for it since it has a cracked head. But I don't have the money!

                • Took the cheesy universal seat covers off that came with the purchase & folded them into the driver seat for lux duck (brand) tape lumbar padding ... the seat vinyl on either side of the fabric middle bit in the seats was failing , but dont i HATE seat covers . Esp $19 black & gray ones ... more comfy now !

                  • I installed sound deadener today. I did not want to cut the large, heavy sheets. So, I unfolded them, removed the door windows, slid the deadener through the belt moldings, then in behind the door reinforcement braces and then re-installed the glass. No problemo. I need to buy some deadener for the roof and rear fenderwells. Deadener really does make a big difference!
Can someone please tell me what the distances are between the ceiling braces?

                    • Adjusted Fuel-Air ratio and Changed ignition timing. Going to fine tune both tomorrow when I have a timing light available.

                      • Fitted underhood padding from another small vehicle.
Everything references off the centerline with the windshield washer tubing hole serving as true position.

Took a pic with a polarizing filter.
