The amount of stickers in the rear window and lack of rear defroster tend to hurt my rear visibility more than the third brake light, I'd love to add a rear wiper at least, rear defrost would mean changing the glass though

Phone Scholz's in Capac and ask them how much they charge for a windshield. Then ask how much for the rear glass.
Don't mention the words Festiva, hatch or defrost, no matter how much they try to pull it out of you.
Only tell them it's definitely not a Corvette.
Record the date, time and who you were speaking to if it's a reasonable price.

Changed my trans fluid yesterday. Thinking about changing my brake booster today.

Changed my 900th front control arm!!! Okay maybe not that many but 5 festy's IDK how many years now so a bunch. I have it down to an art now. My advice is buy Summit Proform socket adapters 67575, https://www.summitracing.com/parts/p...SABEgKqU_D_BwE Mine are craftsman but I don't think them any more. Have a tube of super glue, new control arm hardware and a 4inch grinder with cutoff wheels in the stand by. 1/2 of the ones I have done the captive nut breaks loose so you can't loosen the control arm bolt.Take the 4inch grinder and cutoff wheel cut the head off the bolt drive the bolt and captive nut into the hollow behind it. Use your new hardware glue the new nut to your finger with superglue that will let you get it started and the socket adapters will let you hold a socket on the nut with a combi wrench to finish it no frame surgery necessary. How many different racks do festy's have ended up with the wrong tierods for todays project?Did I do that link right?

I wish I had thought of that! I broke it years ago and was checking my oil, got the idea, texted my wife to find me spidey and what it was for, and she found this diecast figure. I coated it with a few coats of ceramic engine high heat paint and sent it.

I have been collecting parts like it's no one's business. Nothing has really changed, when I was trying to get this project going, all I did was collect parts. However, it's now on 4 wheels and moves around in my garage (with my help, no drive train). So we got that going for us.

Today I bought some aluminum rod and a propane torch to see if I can seal up my Civic radiator. After it bouncing around in my garage for three years not installed and then bounced around in the front of car with protrusions sticking it on several mockups, I deserve it I guess. Hopefully the $25 I spent on supplies will make me Victorious, because spending <25 bucks for a used oem radiator is out of the question lol. If I get damn good at repairs I might be able to drill a hole and add a temperature switch fitting to the tank?

Does it work that way or does it need to be aluminum welded properly?
