if you use a trans from a capri xr2 you can usually find a 5th gear swap for it. lowers the rpm by 500 in high gearComment

Better ask Zoomzoom first. I think he tried it and found it didn't work. Best check before you waste time or energy on it.

^ yea I tried with a 02 rio 5speed, the differential ring gear has the wrong number of bolt holes in it.2008 Kia Rio- new beater

Yea I still have it, don't want to sell it but if your close you can swing by and pick it up lol.. The fifth gear cover is still off it, bolts are there.2008 Kia Rio- new beater

hey guys I asked on a couple places now I need to know if the rio trans fits in a 97 aspire I know there rear mount is different in the aspires, what would I need to make everything workFrankie
