Another problem came out... When I'm fastly accelerating (usually, on 1st and 2nd gear), I hear a crackling sound from the left front side... What can it be? May it be a symptom of failing of inner CV joint?
P.S.> even if not, I'm wondering... are the inner and outer CV joints identical in Festiva?
P.S.2.> is the festiva motor sport dead? I send them a message via email, but havent received any answer
Thank you very much.Last edited by kjchernov; 04-17-2011, 03:46 AM.

-festiva motor sports is still in business, but the best way to get a hold of him is to call, i've heard he usually never responds to emails

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

ok... that's not good...
I'm not able to make a call in USA till next month... If you dont mind, can u make a call in a FMS? I will really appreciate that.
I need to know:
- Whether they can ship an order to Russia
- Can I pay to them via VISA Classic card or via bank transfer? If yes, how can I?
- Do they have a new inner CV joint set for Festiva or just CV joint? Manual transaxle.
There are part numbers, but I hope, they will not be needed:
Original: B004-22-520
From Mazda 121: B001-22-520A or B001-22-520B
P.S.> If they cant ship order to Russia, can someone here buy it and ship it for me? I will pay for order, shipping tax ofc, and a few extra dollars
Thank you again...Last edited by kjchernov; 04-17-2011, 06:35 AM.

Konstantin, your best bet might be to contact Autozone or Advance Auto parts and see if they would ship overseas:
That way you could do this yourself.
Or if you want I could call one of the stores and ask if and how you could order parts from them.
Or someone may have a used CV axle to sell to you. That would be cheapest and should do fine.

Also, I will try to find matching inner joint in our stores by principe 'find 10 differences' at least, many of my friends did the same thing when they were forced to buy CV joint
P.S.> left corner light havent arrived yet I'll post here as soon as I'll get it

Good deal, Konstantin! I bet someone should be able to sell and ship you a CV axle and any other parts normally available. Keep in touch.

imho, you can't just add a hole in Karl's clearance light because it has reflectors on the other side... and i think it will look bad....
i have a friend who is selling the same clearance light as yours (with two bulbs) but without a bump...
i'll try to post pictures maybe this week....
2 bulb slot without a bump..
i can give it for free if you still want these... (that's because i love your gtx..just handle the shipping cost).. in return, please clean your gtx and post more pics here...

You could just cut off the socket to the light that's always on and just have the turn-signal light in the corner lamp like we do in American festivas.1990 White L-Plus 5-speed rust-machine

By the way, can u help me with this little problem, please?...
I'm driving on mechanic transaxle, but still dont understand how much rpms I should get before switching to a higher gear...
For now, I'm almost sure that from 1st to 2nd I can easily switch at 1500rpm. But, for example, If I'm switching from 2nd to 3rd, from 3rd to 4th and from 4th to 5th at 2000rpm, I'm gaining speed too long...
Yes, of course, I can run on every gear 'till 3500-4000rpms, but that will decrease my mpg really fast!
So, the question is, how many RPMs should I reach before switching up from each gear to next one to get normal boost and normal mpg? Thanks.
