Wow, slacker is kinda misleading...I enjoyed reading all that. If you still have
problems when you get this far northwest I can tune it in.

You should be at burning man.

With what you are doing the mileage is not as bad as it seems, but the new
set up should still be tuned in for best efficiency.

Is something holding the throttle open a little or is the little arm on the throttle
shaft on a stop that is adjustable?

Any gas leaks? The gas tank is prone to leaks at about a half tank and above. The next time you fill up, look at the bottom of the gas tank and see if it is wet. If you're running the complete air cleaner assembly, make sure it is clear and open - no mouse nests or other blockages.
        You gonna race that thing?

Air cleaner is clear, i will check the gas tank in an hour when i fill up. This car is a daily driver... i put between 30,000 and 45,000 miles on it every year...

          Thanks for the ideas.

Any mods besides the B6? One of the pics showed the air cleaner without the pulse air hoses.

There are a lot of mods... problem is i watched them happen but dont have a full understanding of what happened. This is one of the main reasons i would like to have someone who knows these systems well go through and check things... i know the emissions system is partially removed. We added cruise control. The bottom 1/2 of my engine is newer from efi car(has 2 extra oil port) and the top is from an 88. Im running dule batteries with an isolator and 75 watt b2600 truck alt. The exhaust is a random amalgam of pipe with a universal muffler. Aspire break booster and MC. 13 inch tires. 3.75 inch lift on the rear. Im sure i missed something. Hope this helps a bit.

Just the carb and/or ignition mods might be a concern for whoever might be giving you a hand. Does that truck alt have the wire for the choke? Are any carb harnesses disconnected or cut? Vac lines removed? A pic of carb with all remaining lines would help.

Truck alt is exactly same alt body with higher watts. Yes alt has choke wire. All carb harnesses are connected and all vacuum lines are accounted for. Some vacuum lines are plugged cuz the emissions system was removed. Also one vacuum line is running the cruise control.

Totaling all that info up, mods are no problem but the mileage is low based on the test you have been giving it. Your pics could be a little deceiving mileage wise

The tune of the car needs from cam timing through all the disty advances needs
checked. The carb needs dialed in, speeds and mix. Basics..air in exhaust out has
                                to be free flowing.

Car drag looked at, wheel bearings adjusted properly, no brake drags, CV's good
especially with lift if the front is included.

Do you have a new Denso o2 ??? critical to close in on mileage.
