  • No idea. So, I bought both bags. I guess I'll let you know when I try to install them. F4BZ-1107-B. Eight studs per bag.
Rear Counter has plenty of them until I can figure out what A, B and C stand for.

Neither Festiva and Aspire had studs stock, both used bolts. As far as know they both used the same bolt.

      • Do Avellas have studs stock?
The parts diagrams show the studs sticking out.

        • Today's question. Is an Aspire throw out bearing the same as a Festiva bearing?

Also did someone from this site purchase an Avella hub from Four Green? I would like to know if it is broached or theaded. Thanks.

          • The reason why I asked the previous question is due to the fact that the schematic shows studs. Unfortunately there is no part number listing for the studs.

            • Today's question. I looked everywhere but couldn't find it.

What size are the axle threads? M20 X 1.5 ?

F4BZ1107A used to be the wheel bolts for 1994 ASPIRE but was replaced by F4BZ1107C for 1994-1997 ASPIRE. F4BZ1107B is the rear spindle pressed stud for all years.

                  Per F3BZ:

Here is a list. apparently there weren't any new colors added for 93. also, i'm guessing that 1990 models still came with the wide molding on the LX and L PLUS since these still show an E8 #. so here is the quick breakdown:
E8--A - wide charcoal molding w/ red stripe
                  E8--B - wide " " plain no stripe
                  F0--A - narrow charcoal (unpainted)
                  F1--B - red
                  F1--C - white
                  F1--D - blue
                  F1--E - silver
                  F1--F - black
                  F2--B - aqua green
                  F2--C - cayman green
                  F2--D - blue

                  • I bought two packages (8 per pack) of knurled studs F4BZ-1107-B for an Aspire. Are these intended for the front only? or for the rear as well?
Do the threaded holes have to be drilled and reamed out first?
Are the studs meant to be hammered in without first knurling the holes?

Found a different type of broaching while searching.

I did an initial indexing check and found none of the plugs are in the ideal position.
Some say to point the open end towards the intake valve. Some say to point the open end towards the exhaust valve. I think I am just going to point them towards the combustion chamber halfway between the intake and exhaust. I presume the Festiva plug seats are flat? Correct?
If so, the following 14mm washer thicknesses should get me in the ballpark.
                      .043" 105°
                      .054" 210°
                      .064" 315°
I am looking for a 3% gain in horsepower.
Plugs one and two should point toward 2 o'clock, plugs 3 and 4 should point towards 10 o'clock. Please correct me if I am wrong.

                      • From the Viper instructions:
                        Peripheral Plug-In Harnesses
Super Bright LED, 2-Pin WHITE Plug
The super bright LED operates at (+) 2 volt DC and plugs into the two-pin WHITE port. Makesure the LED wires are not shorted to ground as the LED will be damaged. Multiple LED’s can beused, but they must be wired in series. The LED fits into a 9/32-inch mounting hole. Be sure tocheck for clearance prior to drilling the mounting hole.
NOTE: Never use a BLUE LED in combination with a RED LED.

Does anyone know if I could just change to an orange LED bulb, cut off the existing LED and add a connector? Do you think anything would be fried?

                        • Maybe I should forget about indexing altogether.
Has anyone ever heard about Torque Master spark plugs?

                          • Has anyone ever installed an alarm in their Festiva?
The blinking LED works when I lock the doors with my Viper remote.
The panic mode (alternating light flash/horn honk) button works on my Viper remote.
How do I get panic mode working when someone breaks into the vehicle?
Do I have to buy extra sensors?
I want the alarm to go off when someone opens the door without disarming the Viper first. I have manual seatbelts. How do the sensors in the door latches of auto belt cars work? I presume it detects a latched or unlatched condition.

Is the orange wire for a starter kill relay?

                            H1/16 ORANGE (-) 500mA Ground-When Armed Output
This wire supplies a (-) 500mA ground as long as the system is armed.
                            This output ceases as soon
                            as the system is disarmed.

                            • I've decided not to hook it up to a car alarm. I will install a MagnaVolt instead.

or should I just buy a Car Zapper 9000 ? from:

Recordable voice module. You can record to it what ever you wish, and the exact phrase sense n tell used was: "or the alarm will sound" but it was clever enought to acknowledge persistence, and did actually state on the third trigger within 60 seconds "last warning, the alarm will sound if you dont back away".

"You touch my Festiva and I'll ..."
