I am out of the country and have no cell service but do have wifi.
The M122 is not the cobra blower, it is on GT500s. I did not typo. They are cheaper than 112s due to gt500 guys having a bolt-on upgrade TVS or whipple. I also have a TVS2300 to upgrade to later on when I redo my intercooler. Yes, the 122 flows more than the m90. 35.5% more. But apart from the longer rotors they are identical in terms of rotor diameter and tolerances with the case, and by your argument the displacement of the blower shouldn't matter. My point was, I have a much larger turbo feeding it than anything you would ever put on a festiva-swappable engine, and my turbo size to supercharger size ratio is significantly higher than what we were discussing so if it would be a problem on his setup, it will be an even bigger problem on mine.
I don't want a whipple for cost reasons. The 122 was $500 and has a built-in bypass mechanisms. Twin screw superchargers are difficult or impossible to really bypass completely since compression occurs within the supercharger. Also, I knew that in choosing the 122, I would have a bolt-on upgrade to a 900+ hp 2.3L TVS blower later if I wanted (and after finding a deal on one, am pursuing that path in the relatively near future).
