Wow, looks great, nice clean work. I'll be watching carefully and taking notes for my own bp swap.
some q's;- did you adjust the firewall and frame? I cant tell from the pic's.
-are orig. cv shafts going to work?
-you have a lot of new stock parts, would you mind listing some sources and prices to help others find good deals?

    Regards Timbits

You don't need a/c that's what windows are for.

I just want an intercooler for higher boost levels. I know I can make up for the weight by adding 2 lbs. of boost.

I'll install the megasquirt and see how it does then.

Now the big DEBATE ??? Should I ditch the a/c? Hmm I do have other cars that I could DD with a/c, but I like being able to drive my car all year long in Florida heat.

I know the car would go faster with less weight......

    Should I?
Your car would then be just another very-fast Festiva, not the fastest with A/C. The MS system will give you all you can want anyway; 15 lbs of A/C stuff won't matter. You'll want to be the fastest on the dragstrip with A/C on, won't you?

Well what do they say every 100 lbs is a 10th a second? So what would taking off the a/c do for you save you .050 of a second? If you are worrying about the belt slowing down the revs, you could take it off at the track for your runs.

You could always add some sort of meth injection instead of a intercooler right?

Thats a thought. I've just wanted to dump the a/c for 1/4 mile times I wanna make it further up the list.

hey greg, dose your MS kit have a air intake temp sensor with it? if so put in the MS kit first and run it to see how high the intake tems are with the rear turbo... i wonder how well that big pipe works for an intercooler... then later see how much the intercooler helps
