        Wow! Some pretty cool stuff happening here. Little more involved suspension wise than what I'm planning but jealous none the less. Been bookmarking some of your parts suppliers for future reference. I like build threads.

        Any updates to speak of?

          Not much to update, I have been busy moving into our home and had a baby so life is at full speed! I did get some stuff for the rear disc brake swap back from powder coating. I'm hoping to start assembly of the rear disc in a few weeks when i can get my hands on the axle beam.

            picked up some skinnys for the rears. I was not planning on buying these but i couldnt pass up the deal. These are Volk rims with new tires. Rims alone are 500 a piece!! I got a steal.

                  May I ask why you used the BF arm instead of the BG? Did you plate the top and bottom of the arm or did you just close it up?

                    BF arm was shorter then BG. The plan was just to close the arm up, I dont think the fabricator finished closing the arm. Im still trying to nail the welder down so i can go out and check on the progress.

                      here is the cut and shorted ball joint




                      boxing up the cut portion of the control arm.


                      Finished up turbo flange, may need a cut and reweld due to some clerancing


                      Here is the cut intake thiswill need to be re-welded. Not sure where we are going to relocate the throttle body yet due to lack of space

                        turbo mounted



                        velocity stack will protrude a little past the head light I was hoping to have the velocity stack recessed in the grill but its to big.


                        I found some rust =(


                        inside where bolts come threw floor for control arms.

                          that's how I wish I mounted my turbo... I "like" my turbo setup, but its very basic I wish I had done something radical with a huge complex manifold that just made people drool lol... o well, next turbo setup I will

                              If you have access to a welder I would suggest drilling the spot welds on the diver side lower rad mount and weld it back on so it will fit the spacing of the civic rad lower mount pins. I did this to my car and I also notched the upper core support ever so slightly just to make sure I had enough room for the top of the rad. I can take pics tomorrow so you can see what I mean if you like.

                                AWESOME work Hot Wheels ! Two things, what ball joint did you use on the BF arm that fits the Aspire Knuckle taper. And it looks like you have some rods passing thru the hubs,are those mocking up where the diff will be situated?Really cool build man -
