Looks good Dan! I feel your pain, I haven't done much either, but I normally don't anyway with my work schedule. Keep at it, I want to hear how awesome it turns out when you do get 'er up and running, I could use some more motivation as well.
While I was installing all new hoses, and on my back hooking up the wiring harness, I thought this would make a nice pic
Also, before installing the spark plugs, I thought about how, on the old B3, I had to use a breaker bar to get the #3 spark plug out, the last time I had changed the plugs on it. :eeeeeek:
I wasnt going to have to do that again with the B6.
So I got one of these, and chased the spark plug threads (any parts store)
After usage, the plugs could be run in with my finger tips, and felt clean and smooth.
Wow, its been 2 weeks since I have been able to work on my Festy swap. :eeeeeek:
I've had 2 other vehicles die on me and had to work on them to keep me in transport! Whew! Seems I have been working on cars all summer...wait....I HAVE BEEN! I am about to get burnt out on all this car construction, and am having to force myself to work on the Festy now.
But, I am out in this heat, doing some to it, and hopefully I can get back in the groove, and get it done. I really want to be able to do something this summer, besides work on cars! Its freakin' July, and I havent been camping, swimming, fishing, floating, or any of the good stuff to do during summer.
Well...I guess that is my rant, and i'm done :p
Hopefully there will be more pics, and of it running!!!!!!! lol
Dan, I want to talk to you about your subframe bridges. My car also suffers from cancer, and at $600 to replace the frame with another OE unit, bridges look pretty damn appealing.
