Well, I think I feel a droplet of sweat now.
My thermometer on the deck says its 96-97* (in the shade)
Of course I am sitting in my air conditioned house, sipping a nice cold one! :p

I am about to go out and lift the engine into the engine bay, waiting for my son to get back from the auto parts store with a replacment for yet another missing bolt. I aint lookin for it, its easier to buy one

I got a little careless towards the end. lol

Of course there will be pics!

Sweating buckets yet ? We are in a heat advisory, air quality alert, and hazardous weather outlook. You better be careful ! You know the drill, frequent breaks, and plenty of fluid. I was down at the garden for awhile, its hostile out !!

SOARING INTO THE UPPER 90S AND LOWER 100S AND HEAT INDICES IN THE 100 TO 107 DEGREE RANGE IN THE KANSAS CITY METRO AREA. A HEAT ADVISORY

I think I recognize the symptoms but you are doing better than me!!

That izuzu is bad about valves, keep them adjusted! maybe set the exhaust
    a hair loose.

People with bad shoulders rest their hand on the shifter while driving and wear
the forks off a MTX tranny. It takes the stress off something? but adds to wear
on forks. I might be wrong but I kinda recognize the symptoms?!!

    Ha!

Reverse those 2 numbers, add a couple years, and thats about where i'm at. :p

I have other issues now too. My only other mode of tranport, is down too.

1990 f-150. The rebuilt mtx I got 4 yrs ago, just stuck in reverse, and wont come out

    I just arranged to buy my neighbors 1993? 96? Isuzu p/u 4x4 for $800.
I know its in fairly good shape, and it was right next door.

I was looking on CL for another mode of trans, and I needed a ride to the bank for $$ cash. As he was driving me to the bank, he says, Yea, i'm lookin to buy another car. I say, You wanna sell this? He says yes. Me. How much?
    Him. $800. Me. Sold!
Supposed to do the deal tomorrow

DANG! Where did I put my transmission bolts???!!!

I put them up some place, and now I cant find them. lol

If I had left then lying on the floor, i'd know where they are, but, noooo.... I had to go and put them away :nono:

    I found one.

Tranny is hanging on the dowels and that one bolt, which is ok, its not hanging on the input shaft. Its flat against the block.

Now....where did I put those bolts?????
