Not trying to be mean or anything but kinda reminds me of the commercial where the girl says the Internet can't lie.... Then says her date is a french model.... Lol

I did my break in according to Matt who built this head, he also builds race motors for a living, so I trust him.... He did tell me about how the honing process is different for engines now a days and that you don't have to do the break I'm like they used to... It used to be like drive it for 30 miles an hour on and off the throttle then a lite more and then do the 500... Matt told me to start it, Rev to 2000 rpm for 20 minutes, then shut it down an change oil filter only, then do 500 miles of normal driving just don't go over 4500rpm then change oil and filter and can drive the crap out of it and red line as I want to, then @ 3000 miles I can start running my synthetic oil.

I never knew about the packing vs baffle... Matt told me the same thing... The muffler I have on it now is a packing style just moving so much more exhaust it's still crazy loud... Its a neuspeed designed for vw cars I guess.. Lol my buddy gave it to me cuz he found it on the road.. Was brand new just scraped up cuz it fell off somebody's car, I looked it up and it was 250 bucks to buy one... I like the sound just need to cut it down a little, matt told me ha has a resonator a dyno max muffler I think, and a tune tip... The kind that has a muffler in the tip... And his is still loud as hell

I found it strange that you were breaking it in nice and easy... I've always followed this method. http://www.mototuneusa.com/break_in_secrets.htm

Not disrespect intended, I've always used this way, excellent compression and ring spoke clearing up after the first half if break in.

Please post a WOT video... Lol

rule of thumb is, if you want a low quiet tone with no rasp, get a muffler with glass packing in it, if you want a loud raspy as heck muffler, get one with only metal baffles in it... (open chamber)

on 4 clyinder engines, i hate the sound of open chamber mufflers on them..... but thats just me...

the muffler itself is a 1 in 2 out camaro muffler

neighbors didnt like it as i was up at 5am to go to work still have the exhaust but not the car. had then engine pulled to do a swap but lost my job and didnt have the money to finish it. then the township got on me about the car sitting there unregistered and all that so it had to go. it could get louder as ive scared a few with it it by hitting high rpms in a gear then letting off. not sure why it got so much louder by doing that though. im not as knowledgeable as most on here about cars in general though id like to be

its old and the car is very dirty. just an idle and rev vid i took while i was at work
only place i have it is on my old myspace as i wiped my old computer and forgot to save the vids and pics that were on it.
this is a video of me showing my dual exhaust on my 93. yes it was burning oil and no it does not have a turbo... yet.

sounds great at idle imo. this exhaust got me an invite to the EMRA.

Got a video? Asked matt about flowmaster cuz i like flowmaster but he said on 4 cylinders because of the firing order (i think thats what he said) it tends to have that raspy sound.

Yeah I like the sound at idle, it just has a raspy sound when you drive and is crazy loud.. So resonator should take care of both those problems

I'm in love with my gigantor resonator. It makes the car so ridiculously quiet under 3000RPM. Mind you, being turbo, I have a bit of an advantage when it comes to exhaust muffling, but it still helped a considerable amount with tone and volume reduction.

Thanks it's been a lot of fun and can't wait to open it up... And yeah I'm talking to Matt and he suggested a resonator I'm gonna get one and put it in before the muffler and that should take the edge off but still sound good.

Wow. Sounds mean but a bit overwhelming imho, if the tone was just deeper... Those first 500 miles have to be torture, that thing just screams bury the pedal!! Seriously though, awesome build man!
