Bought a xr2 shaft to bp adapter really need to get a mill i couldve made it but hey it was only $55 for a guaranteed fit and grade 8 bolts this weekend I'll be sending out my mounts to be modded for a bp xr2 trans swap forward mounting 2.5" forward still debating on a turbo setup if I do from what I researched the pc3 will work as a fmu being it just interrupts. And modifys the ECU's signal to the injectors, tps and, rpm I have a t25 laying around I can throw in and just have fun (without pushing it I love festiver too much to blow it up on purpose) so many things to debate on what to do

So bp is in and running I'm still looking for a manual throttle body (if anyone has or knows where to get one in need asap) but I kinda rigged the b3 tb to work the engine runs super ugly wiring I'm gonna go back and clean it all up now that it's working but I get the engine in and started super happy and excited (my first engine swap or really anything big mechanical wise) and my clutch won't release now it was the original festiva clutch it's just what I had thatd work so I gotta pull the engine back out now to see what's wrong I might just swap my g series in now just need the axles and a clutch I want to get a spec stage one bp clutch and I'm gonna make my own mounts now I built my self confidence up more I feel ok making my own trans mounts with a 2.5" forward mounting

So festiver is still down 3 weeks later I really miss her driving a full size 89 Sierra doesn't make and driving enjoyable it's just different anyway I've given my attempts at making trans mounts the engine mount is done but ugly but the trans I just can't seem to do im gonna buy mounts from shadetree itll just be so much better 1 I can trust them and 2 they'll be much more attractive than anything I would do fab work just isn't my thing also my rad fan seems to be a problem it's too thick so I found a 2.6" thick high performance fan on Amazon which will probably work better too

Bp/g is finally mounted thanks dad for the help I'm overly happy and excited with what was done today this is my first engine swap and it's finally back on track now it's just time to button things up I know my build is common and actually very easy in the world of engine swaps but I can finally say I drive a truely modified car + bp power so next weekend I'm gonna pick up the summer festiva from shadetree and down payment for bp/g mounts I want a set just because mine are ugly and once winter comes I got plans for festiver

I now have a running driving 1.8 bp/g festiva whole lot faster than stock and I didn't go past 1/2 throttle main part I love is not having to downshift for every hill main issue starter is shot, the oil cooler is leaking antifreeze badly and I need intake manifold gaskets it's not leaking badly but it is leaking

Ok update festiver blew a brand new cv axle c clip didn't seat as it don't think the manufacturer didn't slot the spline also needs a new water pump front main seal and a starter but it's getting there

Haha yeah got to drive it a bit before the axle blew apart it's a whole different car and xxr 537s 16x8 +0 with nitto neogens 205/45r16 im lowered about 4" and it rubs pretty bad at lock I dont regret it buying them because I love the look but in reality they don't fit lol I just can't turn too far besides that it's fine

Thanks a ton man it pokes about an inch from the fenders

I'll def look into it I have some business in Tennessee so I'll try to plan it all for one trip

pulled the engine back out to do the starter
Water pump
Timing belt
Oil pan gasket
Fix up some coolant lines
Oil pan was a nightmare I love Mazda but this was terrible
Deleted alot of the stuff on the intake manifold and painted it
Got the engine back in with another passenger axle via shadetree thanks a ton runs alot better and no leaks! A first for me lol still having idle problems but I don't have a air leak hmm engine seems to prefer the disty twisted all the way clockwise and doesn't care where the tps is adjusted to maybe I gotta adjust my vaf? Someone help please I can get it to sit at 1200 but if you rev itll sit at 2500 for 30 seconds than go back down to 1200 maybe it's my lack of exhaust? Either way I'm happy with my car so far
