So I couldn't put the new bp in but hopes are for this weekend but new issue won't idle surprisingly will stay alive but bounces between 200rpm and 900rpm and this causes the alternator belt to slip, it becomes a mess quite embarrassing to be honest already checked for air leaks nothing. my o2 is cut from hitting the radiator (will fix that) for now my idle is at 1500
this new engine has gotta go in this weekend

Sounds like an air leak, or your idle valve has gone crazy. Unplug it and see if it stabilizes.

That sticky VAF was probably causing a lot of your issues. Good catch! Also, switch to NGK v-power plugs.
I was going to idk what happened just never got around to it. these are the plugs the engine had from the junkyard lol. I gotta readjust my vaf because before I realized the stickiness I tried to readjust well now it's all wacky

Why was it sticky? Did you let Bhaz get too close to it at madness?

Lmao nah because I've been running hoodless because bent hinges and the rain fell through the cut silicone(from me adjusting it) and ever so slightly rusted the shaft a little bit of pb blaster and some wiggling and it's perfect

Today I was driving to the gfs house and there's some tight fun turns along the way. I try to keep myself from too much fun (don't want to crash) but I allowed myself to hit this one long bend at 70 mph (it was enough I had to push off the door to keep in my seat). I'm not sure why i was so focused on it but I felt the rear beam twist (as it's intended purpose, I didn't break anything lol). it was a weird feeling i could feel the rear ever so slightly turning unlike anything else I've pushed into a corner. It made the car seem so comfortable almost cocky at that speed. I've pushed festiver into corners before but never focused so much on how it moves it's actually quite an addictive feeling lol. I haven't found festivers limits and quite frankly I hope I never do lol

Dang man that sounds like so much figgin fun!! I have a bp just have to wait til I get more $$$ to do the suspension first then the swap. Envious
Lmao it was fun and I really need to move to coils too I'm running cut springs (don't) hopefully I can go to coils by February and with the bp the power is great but the torque is even better roads id have to downshift twice and hold at 3500 rpm just to keep my speed up I can easily cruise in 5th at 2200 rpm with light throttle
