Got the first shakedown cruise done today after getting Lucky back together. Everything went pretty well. Just need to fix a cooling fan, set the toe and figure out why the windshield washers aren't working. I figured that is a pretty small list considering I had the car almost stripped down to a bare shell and did several conversions in the process of re-assembly.

Thanks Jay and Crazyrog!I wish I had taken more pics during the install, it came out NICE. I wish the rest of the car looked as good as the engine bay does now.
Today I finished preping the bare block from a 323 we're using for the B6 swap in Brad's 93 GL. I've got the block honed, all gasket surfaces cleaned, the crank cleaned, the journals polished, and all the pistons cleaned and ready for new rings. Next will be assembly.

Thanks kartracer46 and christ! Ive been working on my mazda 121 for some time now, bit by bit, here and there but don't think it quite deserves its own thread just yet.
Being one of the newbies here I gotta say im imressed with a lot of the work I've seen done to other members rides, and how much everyone loves their festys!
Anyway, today I went shopping for some new material to re-upholster my sparcos, (with big ups to my mum for the sewing!) and bought some plastic sheeting for my budget, disposable paint both
