Replaced the Solid Lingage Bushing & Sleeve. The bushing was all ate up , not much left. Could not git to the Shifter Bushings with 'Tiva on ramp. Not enough room , & no fun on my back on the ground. My sons gonna see if a friend of his will let us rent or use one of his shops lifts. Maybe for a 12pack of Coronas.

Mine runs like crazy and just blows the smoke out of the crank case.

It runs pretty good as long as I keep the number two spark plug clean. It fouls up pretty quick and starts to miss. I have lots of smoke coming out the exhaust. Best I've come up with is valve seals or head gasket, so I'm going to put a known good head on, replacing the head gasket in the process.

If it still smokes or has issues, then I know the problems is bad piston rings.

Getting it checked and seals replaced so I can swap heads on my car- hopefully in one day. And hopefully cure the smoking.

Actually in mine there was all three holes needed for the Escort light. You have to cut towards the back and some to the front to make it work.

pull down a little on your headliner and look about an inch back towards the hatch, there's already an extra unused (is it threaded?) hole it's magic! just re-wire it and screw it in and good to go

How do the Escort dome lights mount? I looked at them, but they're much bigger than the Festiva ones. I currently have an Aspire dome light held up by the grounding screw. It's crooked and ugly, but it works.

.... Replaced the Master Brake Cylinder in my Festie today. The first replacement was defective, wouldn't pump out of the rear cylinder brake line fitting while trying to bleed it. Thought for a while, on the second one, I was going to have a leak from the tank, on top, plugs in to rubber grommet on the front of the cylinder casting. Bleed it down and took it for a test drive, all seems well, job done.

My cap was broke, none of the local stores had one for a turbo 1.6, we looked at a bp one but the depeth was different. we asked if they had a N/A capri 1.6 cap, and what do you know they did! it matched up with my turbo one but was a little wider. i wonder what the difference is between the 2. the n/a one is on my car now and is working.
no clearince issues, i have a 1/8" spacer in front and 1/4" in rear with the aspire swap.

    Clockdelete 12Vdc USB remote Extension

Interior mod to Old Yeller. Added remote extension for 12vdc/usb in Clock Delete.

Plan to add Ipod remote connection there to connect via usb to the back of stereo on Thursday.

Still have the issue. turbo is spiking to 20 psi and some times i get a miss fire. i think i might go COP.
are they 195-60-14? i love mine!
