  • Lol I'm planning on taking off the KLZE off the windshield, just getting bored with it, I have ideas on what to change it to but we'll see

    1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
    1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.

            Charlie has gone to Zulu!

Chris, those wheels are perfect. They look as though they were always intended to go on the car. I can't wait to see them at Madness!

Pretty much, I still need to wrap the exhaust and connect it to the rest of the exhaust (got my welder back last night so should get to it this week) and get my rad re-installed, then the mechanical stuff is finished

                • Nope, the only way to get an intercooler in the grille, is to remove the grille completely, which I will not do

While I'm making a post in this thread, today I ordered some header wrap and a turbo blanket

you'll have to swap pistons as well, unless you have the B6-ME head (sohc 16v), but i'm thinking you don't.

in his pics it looks like the B6-ME, has the right intake style anyway.

                            • that's what i'm getting at, you currently have an 8v engine (there is no DE head, just D and that's a 16v DOHC). and since you have the 8v head, you'll have to swap pistons when you go to 16v (either ME or D).

but on the chance that you have an ME head, there's no reason to want to go to a 16v head, because you already have one.
