Well I should update this a little, I made some changes, tuned her a little bit, and last friday in 90 degree weather I went 13.46@103mph, with a 2.0 sixty foot. This is still NA, on pretty much the stock 4.8L.....

Not bad for start! Sounds like some traction issues? Are you running drag radials? You should be able to get 13.10's or better with a good 60' and a 103 trap speed.
Think you can break into the 12's as it sits now?

My starting issues aren't traction, I have ET streets on it. The problem I am having is I cant get up on the stall(it's auto), I get to 1600rpm and it starts pushing the car through the brakes. Once I get that fixed I am hoping for 1.8 60' and with colder weather I should see high 12's, or it's just a cam away, lol

What stall on the converter? I vote get a 125 shot and spray that bad boy..........boost would be good too, but spray would be quick, simple, cheap and very stealth!

ha ha, very true! I have debated throwing on some nitrous, but I really don't have the cash for it. I don't have any videos as I usually go to the track myself. The stall is a 2200, but I am only seeing 1600 or 1700, which it might just be too tight of a converter....

On a better note, the car went just a little faster tonight, 13.27@104.1mph. That was with no changes, just a little better temp outside.....

Considering the light vehicle weight and small displacement you probably do need to go a little looser. As it is now, I bet its probably about perfect for a street/DD/cruiser. There's certainly more in it, but IMO, 13.27@104 is pretty good considering your total $ investment. I would be pleased anyway. At least post up some new pics!!

Well I just found out I have been lying about the weight, I weighed it on a scale and it's 3240with me in it! I only weigh around 175 so it really weighs 3062lbs, so it's not as light as I thought it would be, the guy I bought it from could not have been even close to 2650lbs, but that really doesn't matter, it is what it is....

Well, I am stuck on 12 hour days right now, so the updates will be few and far between for now. I started taking the front of the car off so I can put in my LS6 cam. I double checked both the part number, and the size of the lobes, and it is a true LS6 cam 02+, which has the .551/.547 lift!

This is how I left it, only worked on it for an hour, just have too much to do, and after working all day, you get tired quick.....

                                Thanks for looking,
