Haven't been doing much to mine lately because of lack of interest, and the cold weather.

But went out and fixed the coolant leak, and spliced in a bit of hose for the IAC. I don't like how close this hose is to the proportioning valve on the firewall.

Nothing today except find out i got 39.5 mpg from my average 28 mpg this week by changing my driving habbits and a few things. Tires aired up to 45 psi, full upper and lower grill block, and a fresh set of NGK spark plugs. I usually drive like normal people and get 28 all city mpg. And by doing these changes which also included me shutting the engine off and coasting and gear bump starting in all city driving netted me 39.5 mpg. All city! I was and still am amazed. http://cloud.tapatalk.com/s/5865b580...27_110650.jpg?

Also, this was done in 20 to 30 degree weather. I can only imagine if it was warmer!

a lot of the check points under the hood are yellow like caps n dipstik so why not the first part you grab to do the rest? also adds a little paint protection where it latches into the hood. i restored this prop rod and dipped the end in PlastiDip. haven't used this stuff for ages but they've really expanded the range of colors and finishes. you can even get glow-in-the-dark PlastiDip. this is 1 coat of dip and sprayed with a coat of Glossifier.
