    Ok. I have them installed.

    Here's a mini write-up. It's quite simple.
I used the bumper holes where the plastic fasteners go to hold the cover to the metal core.
If I had smaller lights I could've just mounted them directly to that, but I had to get some L brackets.

    The hole:

The lights. Simple cheap ones from Walmart. This is mostly just an experiment to see if I like the look of "fog lights" and if they enhance my county road night driving:

Brackets: I got two sizes. Just in case. Ended up using the larger ones. I found them in the cabinet hardware aisle at Home Depot.

    Bolted up:

I bent the bracket to allow clearance for the wires. I have bent them some more to point the lights downward more than in the picture. I will make adjustments tonight.

Oren, they greatly improve the high beams' ability. It's easy to mount them to the bumper. Go to Lowe's or Home Depot and pick up an L bracket for each light. Bolt them to the back of the bumper, and your lights won't vibrate like they will in the plastic of the bumper.

    500 pages.
    In standard view.
I drove mine today. And bought a set of driving lights. I'm going to play with them and see if they can effectively improve my high beams.

2004 KIA Rio? I thought the swap was only good for the 2001-2002 KIA Rios. Did I miss something?

Yeah...and you are a bit far away. I might be better off pawning the work off on a local Festy owner!

P.S. Today I finally got my Festy into the shop to have the transmission replaced! Unfortunately my buddy got busy and couldn't get the car into the shop till 2:15 and he had to leave at 3. So he got the axles out and the fluids drained, but that's it. And now we have a huge winter storm tomorrow and he doesn't think he'll be able to work on it tomorrow. Might not get the dang thing back til Monday! Crossing my fingers the weather doesn't get too bad and he can get some work done tomorrow...or at least finish up on Friday.

The list of things to do while it's in the shop:
    Rear main seal
    Axle Seals
    Valve cover gasket
    Oil/filter change
New Bushings in the Shift Linkage
    Civic Short Shifter
Having him inspect the cooling system as I think there is a leak
Having him inspect the brakes as I think there is a leak
    Lube the speedo cable
    Check the spark plugs

After I sent him all that I said, "I know it's long, but I think that's everything. Haha" He wrote back, "You forgot one thing. A new car" Told him one day he might have to help me do a B6T or BPT!!!

Awesome! Now come do mine...it's the same color so it will be like you're doing it to your own ride...except you'll probably do it better cause you've got one swap under your belt!

    - Messed around with some stripe options on my Festy that's being repainted now.

    - Ordered an NOS cigarette lighter with orange symbology.

    - Took about 50 pix of some cars at the Ford dealership as I try to decide what blue to paint my Festiva.

    - Bought 3 (of 4) window "belt" tracks....inside and outside for the passenger side door, the inside for the driver's side door (didn't have the outside one for the driver's door in stock; Brave Kozak says no one has it).

    - Posted this!

I'm at work right now so I'm guessing at the price but I think it was about $55.00.

Fourgreen. Items were about $22-23 and the shipping was a little more than $30.

When I take my door cards out to paint, I will take some pics then.

Though it will have to wait until a warm day.
