Experimented with cluster lighting. The LEDs I bought won't fit.
So I took some red plastic sheeting I had and cut it the size of the green lens.
It looks pretty good. I would like to try the same thing to my tach and climate control illumination.

Windshield is finally on Chuck! I'll put up some pics in the Garage thread once I find the camera cable. He is now 99% road ready, just gotta find the two crossmember bolts I lost somewhere in the mess that is the interior. Then comes the fun part of removing the interior and getting out all 5,000,000,000 pieces of glass that used to be only five pieces

I have driven through a lot of water. I drove though a creek with water coming up onto the hood a little. The key is little gas pedal. If you romp it it will suck water into the air intake. If your disty is testy a new gasket should help. They come with a new cap.

Jesus!!! That appears to be a huge issue!!!

I know if I drove my festy through that, It wouldn't make it out due to the dist. Lol.

Wow lol. I splashed around during Hurricane Irene, and soaked my alternator. Left me stranded for a bit.

Removed the air intake piping resonating chamber thingy. The box that hangs off the intake tube.
A 3/4" threaded PVC plug fits perfectly.

Troubleshooted subwoofer and determined to be bad amp. New one in transit.
Freaking Texas heat killed the old amp on a car trip to Austin.

Hit it around 4:30 am this morning trying to beat the 105-110 heat index forecasted for today. Going to give Frankenstiva some new paint next week. I wanted to replace my bumper covers first as the others had some issues and I didn’t want to try putting freshly painted covers on for fear of cracking or scratching the paint.

Some fire damage to the front cover

    Another paint problem

Took me about five hours and was a bigger pita then I expected. The rear beam was pretty rusted but I had another one that was better. Spent about $300 on paint related stuff and going to get some help from a buddy who will swap labor with me.

Sure looks weird seeing black bumpers on Frank

today i am pulling a BP out and checking over the 6 puck clutch for marring/damage.

If everything is in place and undamaged ill have to check over the crank on the BP (there was some knocking towards the transmission end, possibly a rod knock on cyl 4)

if the crank/rods are loose ill throw in a different BP and put the old one in my rebuild pile.

reminds me, i should really get around to building one of these things up for proper boost.
