^^^ I hear ya on the famine. I havent seen a festy or an aspire in a yard in several months. Good thing the kia rio has arguably taken over the place of several components I still need.
Saturday I used my $10 off autozone coupon and bought the timing belt and water pump i should have installed before i dropped in the engine. Will have that done this week we hope.

Today=past week..
Dome light upgrade = check
Stock radio plug and radio in = check (Farmstiva had never had one since I bought 'er
Beginning of paint job = check. (rear spoiler painted, door handles and rear wiper done.
Upcoming weekend, I hope to finish the paint job (painting Farmstiva green with yellow highlights to make 'er look like a John Deere product, instead of the red it is now). Also, want to install the read cargo light and run power to it.. just need to find another door switch I guess. Local wreckers has had a real Festiva famine though over the last few months. Glad on one side, not so glad when it comes to finding parts though..

Pulled out the gas tank to see where it was leaking from (seam) & attempted to fix it. Boy, that sure was fun!

Cleaned and replaced the fusible links with the cartridge fuses with lots of dielectric grease on the terminals. Now the car cranks and starts right up, no more intermittent click, click, click.

Replaced a bad plug on my disty in Lucky, it had some suspect looking wires going into it. I also checked the TPS and installed a new o2 sensor. Hopefully that will keep the CEL off today on my way back to Raliegh. I thought I had a faulty ECU, but I hooked another one up yesterday but it made no change. But I did get to road test one of my B376 spare's I had laying around.Last edited by kartracer46; 08-21-2011, 04:10 PM.
