    Lol.
Drove mine around again. This time to the junkyards. Picked up seats out of a Tracer. Now I need to make me some brackets!

I'd be interested in getting rid of my plastic bushings.
I installed them in my car- the old ones were long gone, and they melted from the heat of the exhaust....

    Little by little

I installed my shift linkage for a test fit. I welded it up almost a month ago, but went to central America for most of june. It fit awesome and the car shifts like a motorsport (not the sequential cars though). I ditched the plastic bushings and drilled out my linkage for shoulder bolts and nylon thrust washers. The added weight also helps the positive shifter feel. I like it!:headbang:

No problem man, just let me know and we'll get you hooked up.

The guy I use is one of the mobile locksmiths. I just call him up and give him the code and he meets me somewhere with a shiny new set of keys

Boydg, that's what I told them..
That was one of those local come-to-you locksmiths. I'm going to try to find one with an actual storefront.
Zanzer, thanks. I may have to take you up on that offer

Removed the passenger door panel and lock cylinder. I called one place to get keys cut and they wanted $125. I'm calling places in Dallas Monday.

My son and I swapeped in an 97 Aspire 1.3 to his 93 Festy yesterday. Runs great, sounds great, I think it was a win. I will tear down the 93 motor today, we think a head gasket was the culprit, but I need to know for sure.

Oops anyway I did make a purchase from them. I have the oil pressure with oil temperature on my srt-4, and am going to do the same for a friend. The festiva will have a vacuum gauge oil temp and oil pressure on the a-pillar. Today i put in the correct ecu and discovered almost a bucks worth of change when i finished pulling the carpet. Also discovered a walmart gift card with 6.49 available when i called the number on the back of it. Great news all around I say. All that is left is the correct TB, new small coolant hoses everywhere and a temporary exhaust system made up and she should be running in daily driver form in theory.

I've knocked out 4 spots of body work, added stickers for HP, put on my 195/45/14s, and ripped out the carpet.

So much more to do, I will hopefully have a festiva of epicness soon. Names? EUROTRASH?

Grills take like 3 minutes to get out but you have to be really delicate!
