you can use the E series as long as you roll on the throttle. the tires will brake loose well before the trans does in that case.Trees aren't kind to me...

Let's say 20 psi.(of course there's alot of variables) I'm talking about a disk style clutch, I figure a puck would just make things go bang!Last edited by 91mcnasty; 12-20-2011, 11:18 PM.1992 white L, Bp, American racing 13's, stock trans.

clutch material doesn't matter so much as it's engaugement (i.e. use a sprung hubed disk).Trees aren't kind to me...

I used a 6 puck ceramic on a N/A bp and I couldnt get it to slip at all. Not sure if it would be ideal on 20psi.89L build thread http://www.fordfestiva.com/forums/sh...ad.php?t=36422

why wouldn't it? as long as it doesnt slip and doesn't slam the input shaft, you're good to go.Trees aren't kind to me...

. oh well ill do it any way and when i do go through the trany ill just upgrade then. is there an available preformance clutch that is reasonably priced for the e-series trans that i can buy?
