I used rustoleum oaint for plastic. Let them dry a whole day. Installed them anr went for a drive and it chipped. Oh well. Adds some character

    EGT Seats

Installed the passenger side EscortGt seat I got from Flyin'. That is one comfortable seat. Much more the the Aspire seats I had/have! Haven't done the drivers yet, need to get an estimate on the minor repair. Thanks again Mike!!

Rear backing plates, brakes drums, brake lines were pretty rusted. Replaced entire beam and new drums, shoes, wheel bearings, and wheel cylinders.

Got rid of $7.50 worth of cans out of the back that's been in there for 3 months. Might start to smell a bit better.

Just some universals I found in my dads old shed he'd never used. Painted them red with rustoleum oaint for plastic so it adhered better, just to make them pop a bit and have that subaru rally flap look.

Skirts are from mckabe. He got them from a escort gt (not sure model year), but they were shortened to fit the festy by him.

I would. Pulling the engine depends on the help you have. I didnt pull it. I just did it from what I could. The valve cover and all the hoses and whst not take a couple hours. Id recommend a 3 day weekend to give everything you degrease time to dry so you can paint, the second day, start early painting so you can do it proper, and if its all dry enough at the end of that day out it bacj together. If not the 3rd day. You also need to get the high heat paint for everything. I got the 2000° flame proof stuff just to be on the safe side. And when its all back together, just idle the motor for about 20 minutes. Let cool for 10, then repeat so the paint can cure. Im curing mine now.
