Did a complete tune-up minus fuel filter... and plug wires. Ordered the wrong ones and they won't be in until Thursday.
Yesterday got my HUGE exhaust leak fixed (read: no exhaust), as the manifold cracked off right at the bottom. I kind of miss the loud exhaust, though.. I had two stoplight Chevy S-10 races, and won one of them!
All well and good, and glad you have the wheels on now, but when are you going fix that oil leak?
I'm afraid one day I'll open FF.com and see a message "it died"!
Still hoping it's just the oil pan gasket. Due for a change her in the next couple weeks probably and will replace the gasket then. If it turns out to be something with the headgasket or the likes I'll just keep putting oil in it til it dies...then I'll probably throw in a B6T
Finally installed the sunroof. Took forever!!! Started at 3pm. Finished at 10pm...only had maybe an hour or so break in there for dinner. Oh and I managed to get it in just the right spot so that I could keep my Escort Dome Light.

Also, I brought it to work yesterday. Front end feels super nice and tight, despite being horrendously out of alignment. After an alignment it should be GREAT! A/c was nice too :p
Took me quite a bit to get it up to the nozzle when I did mine. What I did was use a coat hanger and taped the end of the hose to it. Routed it up the rear pillar and when I got it up there I taped it to the roof. Then I took out my wing window on the passenger side and through that window I retaped the hose to the hanger and routed it across the top of the hood. Took some trial and error, but I finally got it to the nozzle!
I used a hangar too. The first attempt, the hose and hangar went on both sides of something in the C-pillar, Oh lord. Took forever to get it back out because I was stuck. Retaped and TWISTED the hose around the hangar the second time. I may have to finish the top some day when I have lots of patience....... haha

Went junkyarding looking for aspire swap parts. Drove 110 miles one way because they said they had 2 complete aspires..... Wrong. They had 3 aspires with nothing on the front, and only one bent rear axle. I got pretty mad, but than my 3 year old son pointed out that there was a car just like daddys, lol. They actually had an 88 and a 90 festiva. 75 bucks later I have a full manual belt set up. Trim panels and all. I would have taken the headliner, but We showed up half an hour before the yard was going to close. Sorta made my trip worth while.

WHAT A PITA to re-route that hose! My lord! Took me all day and I STILL didn't get it fully through the rear upper beam! It's just under the headliner. Works!

I am amazed at how rigid a three point air cleaner holdown setup can be. I mixed and matched 6mm spin nuts from a couple of different junkyard cars. The tall GM 8mm valve cover hold down prevents your fingers from hitting the snorkel on the air cleaner. Any steel tab can be welded onto the bottom of the air cleaner snorkel. tx, you will notice, I cut off the reed valve assembly and the tubes from underneath my air cleaner. It sure makes it look a lot neater.
oh it doesn't take me but about 4 minutes to take the whole thing apart down to the carb. just the carb im not looking forward too lol.
