Also, I brought it to work yesterday. Front end feels super nice and tight, despite being horrendously out of alignment. After an alignment it should be GREAT! A/c was nice too :p

Then I took out my wing window on the passenger side and through that window I retaped the hose to the hanger and routed it across the top of the hood. I used a hangar too. The first attempt, the hose and hangar went on both sides of something in the C-pillar, Oh lord. Took forever to get it back out because I was stuck. Retaped and TWISTED the hose around the hangar the second time. I may have to finish the top some day when I have lots of patience....... haha

Went junkyarding looking for aspire swap parts. Drove 110 miles one way because they said they had 2 complete aspires..... Wrong. They had 3 aspires with nothing on the front, and only one bent rear axle. I got pretty mad, but than my 3 year old son pointed out that there was a car just like daddys, lol. They actually had an 88 and a 90 festiva. 75 bucks later I have a full manual belt set up. Trim panels and all. I would have taken the headliner, but We showed up half an hour before the yard was going to close. Sorta made my trip worth while.

Any steel tab can be welded onto the bottom of the air cleaner snorkel. tx, you will notice, I cut off the reed valve assembly and the tubes from underneath my air cleaner. It sure makes it look a lot neater.
oh it doesn't take me but about 4 minutes to take the whole thing apart down to the carb. just the carb im not looking forward too lol.

Got my rear wiper fluid working properly.... the hose had come off up top and somehow got routed over the pass rear wheel and so any fluid in the tank siphoned itself down through there and right onto the ground. WHAT A PITA to re-route that hose! My lord! Took me all day and I STILL didn't get it fully through the rear upper beam! It's just under the headliner. Works!

Also took it on it's maiden B6 voyage! Runs great! Can't wait to get exhaust. And it has working A/C..... So amazing.

Speedo and temp aren't working on the cluster.... Suck. However, I know it's cooling as it should, because the fan kicked on and it was displacing ample heat as it should.

Does anyone know which sensor feeds the cluster? Bullit or spade? Strange, because I took both sensors off of the B3, and they worked...

I think most of the splash will come up from the road onto the backlite.
The only reason I added a spoiler was to cut down on the sun's glare a little.

Good stuff... hopefully that helps a little bit. I wonder what impact a rear spoiler has on this issue... seems like it would keep a bit of rain off, especially when moving forward.
