Took a pic of it with Jack's latest festiva. He has already aspire swapped. And his is the first antique tag festiva I've seen. Man, I'm old.

I'm not that anal about my car! I just wanted the pollen off and to get a quick test to see if the sunroof was gonna hold up! Plus I went to the camp as a kid they were raising money for figured I'd help support them. I sure got a test last night on the new sunroof. Huge storm passed through. Lightening and Thunder woke me up at like 4am and it was really coming down outside. Completely dry inside this morning!

I never go to youth car washes. They use Tide or Bio-Ad laundry detergent, and both your shine and paint start coming off on their rags. Always ask them first to show you what kind of soap they are using.

After church today our youth group was having a fundraiser car wash and so I took it through...needed to leak test the new sunroof. It passed!

I then spent nearly 2 hours vacuuming the crap out of my carpet. Looks good!

Then I installed the pre-90 trim I got from Fred...his car will live on in a way. I plan on eventually painting all the trim black in my car.

Finally decided to just install the GL door cards I had. Also installed black handles and window cranks from a Protege.

I've had too busy Festiva days this weekend. I'm going to enjoy just driving it the rest of the week!!

Rebuilt my turnsignal switch that wouldn't cancel. I used a piece of metal and some Gorilla Glue.

Did a complete tune-up minus fuel filter... and plug wires. Ordered the wrong ones and they won't be in until Thursday.

Yesterday got my HUGE exhaust leak fixed (read: no exhaust), as the manifold cracked off right at the bottom. I kind of miss the loud exhaust, though.. I had two stoplight Chevy S-10 races, and won one of them!

I'm afraid one day I'll open FF.com and see a message "it died"!
Still hoping it's just the oil pan gasket. Due for a change her in the next couple weeks probably and will replace the gasket then. If it turns out to be something with the headgasket or the likes I'll just keep putting oil in it til it dies...then I'll probably throw in a B6T

Realized why my temp gauge isn't working by searching the forums a bit... Apparently it needs to be grounded. And I used thread seal tape on it.

    Easy fix!
