It has been my personal experience that hitting a raccoon will slow your speedometer down my about 10MPH, so it could be good advice since his speedo is too high

short of replacing the speedo assembly, i'm not sure what to do... everything else on the unit is perfect.
If any lube gets on to the aluminum hub/disk whatever in the gauge part
it adds more drag to the drag of the magnetic stuff going on..Pulls on the
spring a little harder and make you lie a little more about racing in Mexico!!

Got my Hella 6.5" driving lights installed (Finally). I used some L brackets from Home Cheapo and mounted them under the grille to the bumper cover mount holes and used real bolts not the plastic screws. Highbeam circuit is red/w and I cut it and strippied it then spliced it with the trigger wire for the lights because the little piercing clip didn't feed enough current.

Moved it up to the Garage! Drove it through the neighborhood with no brakes or muffler, which got a lot of laughs from the locals. Had to push it at one point while cutting through the park, which resulted in about 10 kids yelling "I wanna help!" and rushing to assist me, LOL.

Once in the garage, I pulled the hood and seats, but not before flipping the backseat flat just to see it for myself. (Thanks, Neanderpaul. Didn't know it could do that, and I may actually keep it now.)

Next up, TONS of grinding and welding, than aspire swap.

Painted my hood (tooke 3 cans to get a decent coverage) I am not super happy with it but others say it doesn't look to bad (But i am use to a nice clean paint job sprayed in a nice clean booth) Atleast it is the same color.

All that is left is the fender (Bumper if i replace it), roof, and a few small touch up spots around the car.
