Did the Aspire swap up front. Didn't go easily and it does pulsate a bit. Hoping they'll seat in as neither car was doing that before. Took me all day but granted the crew was here digging the new 12x33 driveway, getting tired of our cars being messed with.
Resulting dirt pile irresistible to a 3 1/2 year old.
On the 92:
Yesterday new struts all the way around, rebuilt right front knuckle/bearing, alignment.
Today: new waterpump and timing belt, install escort dome light.
I was trying to drain my radiator and when i was taking out the drain plug, it snapped off leaving part of it still in. so now i need to figure out how to get that piece out, and get a new drain plug.
That happened to me. I just took out the rad(2 bolts) and shook it out the top opening
That's what the link is for :p to my stolen festiva thread haha. Short story is...
Thief ran out of gas on the side of the interstate. Got it back just they way I left it. No damage nothing stolen. So all in all I'm happy!
Pulled a b8 from a protege. Removed a trans from an aspire and installed a rebuilt one. Met a Festy owner at the pick n pull and swapped ideas and parts. I traded a b3 for factory flaps. Found an auto a/c and power steering aspire at the yard.

Heat up the end of a pocket screw driver and melt it into the broken plug piece !
Then screw it out !!!!! Works evertime ...

Curved set of needle nose should do it!
But you also have to find another drain plug.
Anyone have an extra for one?
Or know a replacement for it?
Put new o2 sensor and a valve cover gasket on 91, put head gasket on 88 but waiting on more parts to see if it will run, still got alot of dumb@$$ under dash wires and spices from p.o. to deal with.
I hate when people try to re wire cars.
A friend of mine has a 1970 Jeep Wagoneer that's a mess. The turn signals, front back and indicators, come one when you step on the brake pedal. Under the dash is a rats nest...
Today I moved and rewired my second horn. Maybe it won't short out now.
Cruise control still doesn't work
