Put the spare on after I nailed a curb in the parking lot during a snow storm the other night. Left it there until the weather cleared up.

Also, I went to the hardware store and bought a couple size 6 rubber stoppers. I had to drill out the center to use them as grommets (bushings? spacers?) to adapt the universal strut boot into a tie-rod boot. Debating on installing the front end parts myself or taking it to the mom-and-pop alignment place and asking them to install. I hate working out in this windy cold weather.

Then I'll have to hit up discount tire for a couple new 165/70 R12s. Luckily the one I blew a hole through the sidewall came with the car. Puny 145/80 didn't stand a chance!

Got whatle's trans back together, taking a lunch break then going to wash his trans and junior's new b8 swap! The b8 swap is so easy and I had to go to the pick n pull anyway so I figured junior would like some added cc's.

Put in the front half of an escort console (too broke to get the hand brake part) Kept the stock dash box thing. Looks extra ghetto and only moves a little when I shift. The Compton Special

okay, i have fixed the rad drain plug problem and i have also installed new spark plugs/spark plug wires, so the only things left to do is the fuel filter and cleaning gas tank(in progress) then it will be time to start up my festy for the first time(for me) wish me luck!

Did the Aspire swap up front. Didn't go easily and it does pulsate a bit. Hoping they'll seat in as neither car was doing that before. Took me all day but granted the crew was here digging the new 12x33 driveway, getting tired of our cars being messed with.

Resulting dirt pile irresistible to a 3 1/2 year old.

That happened to me. I just took out the rad(2 bolts) and shook it out the top opening

Thief ran out of gas on the side of the interstate. Got it back just they way I left it. No damage nothing stolen. So all in all I'm happy!

I saw a radiator drain cock listed on a Mc Parts website. I think it was NAPA.

Pulled a b8 from a protege. Removed a trans from an aspire and installed a rebuilt one. Met a Festy owner at the pick n pull and swapped ideas and parts. I traded a b3 for factory flaps. Found an auto a/c and power steering aspire at the yard.

Heat up the end of a pocket screw driver and melt it into the broken plug piece !
Then screw it out !!!!! Works evertime ...
