got the wiring harness put in for the radio, now i need to make a ground and run my sub lines. Then i need to figure out to get my radio cage mounted and fit all the wiring and radio in that tiny hole. I also got my 6.5s mounted under the factory rear speaker covers (looks stock as apposed to the old ones that has 6x9 mounted through the top). Hopefully tommorow after i get a van tuned up and get the oil changed in my taurus i will be able to get my rear shock and passenger cv shaft installed.
I still need to make a box for my new 6x9s, I'm thinking about making a small box and placing them under the front of the front seats (trying to make everything look factory/hidden for security reasons) and figure out how to get my 10s to fit where i want them to.
Also went to the junkyard yesterday and the one Festiva they had was gone :-( but i managed to get all the parts to fix my buddys interior in his silverado and found a hood for another friends c10. They did have a miata though (Was really tempted to try to buy it and a really clean 2door metro) Is there any parts i can get from a miata?

Ran out of gas. Then sat on the side of interstate trying to get it started back up. Drained the battery but had new one with me So I replaced it. Finally got car going and drove the rest of the way home to park her for the night.

I was saved by a Nissan Sentra cap. Yay for small Japanese radiators.
The temperature was normal on the way home.
Movin, I already have a leak at the thermostat housing. One of the bolts is sheared off in the cylinder head. Its a slow leak and I just top off the coolant every week or two.

Man, that is too bad ! After all is well and you are home, put cardboard or
something under it and let it idle until the cooling fan comes on. Then turn it
off and leave it for several hours, then check for leaks.
Some times thermostats do not survive this either replace it or monitor
its performance for a few days. Hope all is well !!

I overheated mine at least 10 times(accidentally). So I think you will be fine

I overheated it on the way home from.the club.
For some reason my radiator cap disappeared. I'm currently on the side of the highway waiting for a friend bringing a cap and water. I don't know how in the heck the cap vanished but goodness. The engine shut off as I pulled over but it starts so I hope its fine...

Too bad the "frame" and brakes aren't stronger. You could tow a fullsize trailer with that engine and get a lot of weird looks.

yup now just gotta test the wiring and it's officially ready, although I want to get new wheel straps since my current ones are crap, they'll do if absolute need be though but I'd rather get different ones for my grandparents fancy car dolly lol
