Lighting is horrible since this was at 7:00 before heading to work and the sun wasn't even up yet... but they ARE on the car

Should get a better pic tomorrow though (it will be dark by the time I get home tonight

Well, it wasn't today, but Tuesday, and Wednesday, I installed a new Clarion deck, 300.1 Kicker amp, and a 12" Kicker comp in the Festiva. Sounds amazing! Tomorow I (hope to anyway) will be installing my console bucket, and my marker lights!

Got the brakes finished, I realize that it was probably the worst brake job ever, didn't machine or sand drums, didn't overhaul cylinder, didn't repack bearings. But most everything was uber clean, the PO did the bearings and the grease had no particulates in it whatsoever, I have to adjust the preload nut, everything spins so much easier with the ebrake not dragging, the left rear drags a bit from the bearing I think, drove it 12 miles home with a stop in the middle for gas. I got home and the right was barely warmer than the rest of the wheel, the left was warm as the outside of a mug of coffee. This was the absolute limit of my shop time as this was the last day of my shop class. Otherwise I would've done more. Stops better but it does need a bleeding which I can do at home.
All in All, I think I did well for figuring it out as I went, first brake job ever, and the shop teacher hasn't dealt with auto adjusters before, he just wanted to crack the line and clamp the pistons in then quickly slip the drum over after removing the clamp.

That is normal...... I did the same thing for a fill this winter.......I normally get 45mpg, and only got 35mpg for one fill! I did almost all city driving, but also a lot of idling, and some snow fun.......

Dont worry, your next tank should rebound to normal....

CL. They were from Pep Boys according to the guy I got them from. All brand new in box except for the one that he took out for the CL pic. Tires are 155/80 Douglas Xtra Trac from wally world at $41/ea. Its gonna be a pizza car so no reason to spend a lot on tires, they'll be gone in a couple months anyway. Lol

Thieves are why I love factory or old cassette decks. Cassette adapter and an iPod and you are good to go with no temptation for the thieves.

Glad you survived that one crazyrog!

Too good to be true, right? "It runs and drives, same year, darker blue, automatic, 130K! etc...) We walked out to the parking lot and he kept talking, said he had to get rid of the 13 cars he was storing at a guys house that owed him money. The guys neighbors were calling the cops and they had to go. It sounded halfway legit. He told me he needed a ride a few miles down the road but said I could take it today. The story kept changing as he kept on talking (in my backseat...) and asked if he could have $20 to borrow his brother in law's tow truck to drop it off. He persistently asked if we thought he was good for the $20 so I made a quick yuwee and dumped him. So glad I didn't die today.

Spiko, did you cut a hole and mount them on top of the stock locations? What head unit did you get? I like this stuff, moar pictures!
Glad you didn't die today either.

I purchased this radio to replace the one that was stolen. It's nothing fancy but I really like it. I don't need the CD player since I always plug my iPod in or my Samsung Galaxy S II & stream with Google Music. I purchased it for $30 shipped from Amazon with prime. Looks like it's a little more now.

The 6.5" speakers are some cheap Pioneer's that came bundled with the last radio I purchased for my other car. At the moment they're just resting in my back seat until I do a more permanent install. Most likely I'll use the cargo cover I have or build a new one and that's where they'll be mounted.
