Tuesday night I asked Jay if it would hurt anything to wire the choke open other than being hard to start when cold. He said no so I did! Now I'm back well into the 30s on MPG (from low 20s, choke is all messed up) and hopefully a little more tuning this week and I'll be doing good again Jay is the MAN!

Probably should move this to the repair thread, Is the little light coming
on? You may want to get a test light and see if power and ground actually
exist at the rear window and if power is on both sides of the fuse.

fixed the rocker shafts after putting the wrong ones in saturday. Sunday swapped HG, head, intake, tb, etc in 3.5 hours, also swapped the same 'wrong' shafts sunday, too. not bad considering I had to disassemble 2 engines instead of just mine. doh' moments much?

runs like an absolute charm now.

Did an oil and filter change before it rolls over 100,000 miles tonight! I'm going to try to get the picture on the way to the gym.

Installed a 2 stage thermostat. It got dark before I could get the new radiator in.

I drove it, I cleaned the interior out, I put both wiper arms back on and got a new wiper blade for it, I also went through all my old citgo gas cards and filled it up (I have like a dollar left on one still). Tommorow I'm going to drive a good distance for the first time (45miles to school and 45 back) Instead of the typical 15 mile drive from the shop to the house.

He still looks good! I'd take him, since GD got the other car.

EEEK! I learned from a friend to steer straight into the curb and ride it out. Hopefully your tire and suspension will take the impact instead of your rim and LCA then.

Hit a curb on the ice, bent left front rim and lower control arm. New LCAs both sides tomorrow.
