Re: What have you done to your Festiva today!?
Took the transmission apart to discover that the 3-4 synchros and bearings were shot.
When I pulled the engine I also discovered that the rear transmission mount is broken.

I got one on ebay for $5-7 w/ shipping.
Just search for the bulb size and LED. You'll have to browse through pages to find a panel one like that. Mine has a spring loaded "festoon style" connector with wires that connect to the LED board.
I have a smaller one stuck in at an angle in the cargo light.

Installed my new Junspeed lic. plate lights & lenses. The old lenses were yellow & cracked & the bulbs were melted into the bulb holders. Nice brigth cop friendly tag lights now!

The hatch latch is the latch that opens the hatch door, correct?
Thanks,

Engine and transmission are out of the car. I'll tkae the tranny apart to see what damage has been done. Then it's on to the engine... new oil pump, pan gasket and a general cleanup.

Valve cover gasket and two new belts. No more squealing belts! Oh, I washed the engine bay and then the whole car.
